Today kicks off Women in IT Week launched by the Women in Leadership Foundation. The Women in IT Week includes a variety of events that award, promote and support women in the technology industry. Events are scheduled throughout Canada in Vancouver, Kelowna, Toronto and Edmonton from May 16 to 20, 2016.
Women in Leadership Technology Awards
Maven Collective Marketing is excited to announce our Founder, Erica Hakonson, will be hosting the 2016 Women in Leadership Technology Awards on Tuesday, May 17th, 2016 at 6:00 PM at the Wosk Centre in Vancouver, BC on behalf of the Management of Technology MBA program at Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business and the Women in Leadership Foundation. Not only that, our Founder will also be keynote speaker for the evening set to honor the dedicated, talent and intelligent women in leadership in the technology sector.

Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business, specifically the Management of Technology MBA program, has joined forces with the Women in Leadership Association to host this outstanding event in honor of the incredible women in leadership in technology to enjoy an evening dedicated to reflecting upon and recognizing the phenomenal and fascinating work women have contributed to the technology industry. The awards will be presented in five key categories to outstanding recipients, including:
- Young Leader
- Community Champion
- Lifetime Achievement
